Welcome to the Island Skating Academy!

The Island Skating Academy is a joint venture of the Charlottetown Skating Club and  the Sherwood Parkdale Skating Club, inclusive programming to provide off-season programs for late Spring Sessions and Summer Camp Sessions during the months of late April into August for all islanders. We offer all programs including Starskate (encompasses podium pathway), Canskate, Powerskate and Adult Skate.

We are excited to be able to provide the opportunity to train year-round for all Island Skating Club participants and guests who may be visiting us here on the island and want to keep up their training.

Group lessons are included at all levels. Private lesson coaches are welcome. Check out our registration page and take a look at all our schedules on our main menu bar under "schedules".

New this Season

An extra week of Summer Camp. Our six week summer training camp concludes with the only Maritime Summer Competition taking place on August 9th for all levels from Starskate 1 to Novice Podium pathway skaters. This is an invitational event welcoming skaters from other provinces.

Powerskate now includes and off-ice training session.  Off-ice training is an integral part of the development of athletes.

August 9th and 10th Skate Canada PEI will host a TS/TC Seminar out of the North Rustico Centre. Watch Skate Canada PEI for details skatecanadapei.ca
